Histoire du Navirotel: Creusé dans le roc du Trayas sur la Corniche d’or en 1936, le NAVIROTEL est comme un vaisseau pénétrant dans la mer.

Né de l’imagination de son architecte Monsieur HAZEBROUCP, originale en forme de navire dont la proue épouse les côtés de la méditerranée, ce bâtiment devint rapidement célèbre et attira une clientèle élégante.

Installés dans 40 chambres, les hôtes pouvaient bénéficier d’un restaurant, d’une piscine suspendue, de pont promenade, d’un solarium, d’un garage à bateaux et d’une salle à manger qualifiée de stratosphérique.

Conception résolument novatrice, le NAVIROTEL incarne tout ce que la côte d’azur pouvait offrir en horizons vastes et harmonieux.

A l’époque, il magnifiait la vie libre, saine et heureuse au grand air du large en pleine nature.

Le 20 août 1939, la guerre mettait fin à cette remarquable prospérité. Pendant la guerre, il devint un hôpital militaire.

Il réouvrira ses portes en 1948 pour la plus grande joie des vacanciers comme l’un des plus beaux lieux hôteliers durant plus de 3 décennies.

Le pont du navirotel et sa piscine seront un haut lieu des soirées de la côte d’azur durant les années folles.

Renaissance du Navirotel: Après 20 mois de travaux colossaux (sept 2023/juillet 2025) l'architecte PASQUALINI redonne ses lettres de noblesse à cet immeuble majestueux. Courbes des balcons, bois, arborisation, rambardes filantes.... la proue du bateau flotte de nouveau au dessus des flots...

Juillet 2025: Réouverture de la résidence du Cap Nérée pour le plus grands plaisirs des premiers vacanciers.

The History of the Navirotel:
Carved into the cliffs of Le Trayas along the legendary Corniche d'Or in 1936, the Navirotel was conceived as a ship sailing gracefully into the Mediterranean Sea.Creusé dans le roc du Trayas sur la Corniche d’or en 1936, le NAVIROTEL est comme un vaisseau pénétrant dans la mer.

Born from the imagination of architect Mr. Hazebroucq, this remarkable building was designed in the shape of an ocean liner, its prow embracing the coastline. It quickly became an iconic destination, attracting an elegant and discerning clientele.

Its forty guest rooms offered access to exceptional amenities, including a restaurant, a suspended swimming pool, promenade decks, a solarium, a private boathouse, and a spectacular dining room once described as “stratospheric.”

Resolutely innovative for its time, the Navirotel embodied everything the French Riviera had to offer: boundless horizons, architectural harmony, and an unparalleled art of living.

It celebrated a lifestyle devoted to freedom, wellbeing, and the pleasures of the outdoors amidst an unspoilt natural setting.

On 20 August 1939, the outbreak of war abruptly brought this flourishing era to an end, and the Navirotel was converted into a military hospital.

In 1948, it reopened its doors to holidaymakers and soon regained its reputation as one of the Côte d'Azur's most prestigious seaside destinations, enjoying more than three decades of success.

During the glamorous post-war years, its deck and swimming pool became a celebrated venue for the Riviera's most memorable soirées.

The Renaissance of the Navirotel:
Following twenty months of extensive restoration works (September 2023 – July 2025), architect Pasqualini has restored this majestic landmark to its former splendour. The flowing curves of the balconies, warm wood finishes, lush landscaping, and elegant railings once again evoke the silhouette of a ship whose prow seems to float above the Mediterranean waters.

In July 2025, the Cap Nérée Residence reopened its doors, welcoming its first guests and reviving the timeless charm of one of the French Riviera's most extraordinary addresses.
